Will I need to complete a new study each year?
Yes, but your participation after the first year effectively is a simple update of existing information. We know your time is valuable, so your study questionnaire will be pre-populated with all of your previous responses so that you simply need to update the information and submit. The fewer changes in your productivity and compensation, the less time required to complete and gain access to the study data. Of course, you are welcome to make updates more than once a year, should your information change.
What financial and practice information is required to complete the study?
You’ll need to know how much you are compensated and for what effort, as well as one piece of information from your last federal tax return. You will also need some information about your clinical practice during the reporting period (amount of call, productivity information, etc.). Upon registration, you may choose to download our simple prep sheet to help you gather the necessary information prior to beginning your study.
How much does Phairify cost?
Nothing. Use of the Phairify platform and study data is free to members of participating specialty societies. If your society is not yet a Phairify partner, reach out to your specialty society membership office to request this benefit or contact us to learn more.
How does Phairify secure my responses?
Your security and privacy are a top priority for us. We have rigorous authentication processes and encryption standards in place to protect all user-information stored in our systems and communicated via the internet. Only authorized personnel can access your information and our databases are automatically backed up to prevent loss of data. What information is available to residents and fellows?
We believe measures of clinical effort and compensation significantly influence a trainee’s decision to pursue a particular specialty. For that reason, Phairify provides access to aggregated study information to residents and fellows at no cost through their specialty society.
Can a physician view study information without participating?
Unfortunately, no. Our value exchange is powered by the data you report – the more data inputs, the better information outputs. Fortunately, the studies are designed to require minimal time and effort. In exchange for your participation, you enjoy unlimited access to all study data at no cost.
